How does Rankoff ranking work?
Rankoff orders public websites and social profiles by their sponsored totals paid. A higher total paid places a link higher on its selected industry board. The amount beside each listing is the advertising value already recorded for that link.
A new payment does not create ownership of the listing. It adds advertising value to the normalized public link. If several people sponsor the same eligible link, their settled payments are added to one total. This allows a business, customer, supporter or agency to contribute to the same public placement.
Rankoff contains 19 industries. A listing must be placed in the industry that describes its business or activity. A hardware retailer may use Retail & Ecommerce, while a pickleball facility may use Sports & Fitness. The type of link does not determine the market: an Instagram profile can represent a retailer, clinic, property agent or creator.
Each industry has its own board and its own published price for the first position. A placement in one industry does not automatically determine its position in another industry.
Every live listing has a permanent public page recording its current position, total paid and tracked click count. Rankoff 如何计算排名？
Rankoff 按照公开网站或社交账号的累计赞助付款金额排列位置。总额较高的链接，会显示在所选行业中较前的位置。每个条目旁的金额，就是该链接已经记录的广告展示价值。
付款不会取得条目的所有权，而是为经过标准化处理的公开链接增加赞助金额。如果多人赞助同一个符合条件的链接，所有已结算付款会累积成同一个总额。因此，商家、客户、支持者或营销机构都可以为同一个公开位置付款。
Rankoff 设有 19 个行业。条目应选择最符合其业务或活动的行业。例如，五金零售商可选择零售与电商，匹克球场馆可选择运动与健身。链接平台不会决定行业：Instagram 账号可以属于零售商、诊所、房产经纪或创作者。
每个行业都有自己的榜单和公开首位价格。一个条目在某个行业的位置，不会自动决定它在另一个行业的位置。

What happens when the same link receives another payment? / 同一个链接再次获得付款会怎样？
The new settled payment is added to that link’s existing sponsored total.

Does the payer own the listing? / 付款人会拥有该条目吗？
No. Payment purchases advertising placement and does not provide ownership or editing rights.

Do clicks affect the position? / 点击数会影响位置吗？
No. Tracked clicks are reporting data. The placement order is based on sponsored totals paid. Repeat clicks count and automated traffic is not filtered, so a click is not a unique visitor, enquiry or sale.

Does the social platform determine the industry? / 社交平台会决定行业吗？
No. The industry describes the business or activity, not the platform carrying the link.
